Webinar with Elsa Raeder about how basket weaving with wild plants can help us remember a way of life where practical knowledge and mythical stories are woven together into a living craft.

A story where you will learn how to weave a basket of Burdock and Blackberry bark, one of the oldest techniques we have. Through the craft, ways of discovering, understanding and getting closer to the plants that surround us are also opened. Maybe you will also look at Burdock with different eyes the next time it gets caught in your clothes.

Elsa Raeder runs the company Weaving with the Wild, where she wants to inspire people to a life closer to nature, by, among other things, holding courses in basket weaving with wild plants, tracking animals and using wild plants in everyday food. She is also a teacher at the folk high school course Naturliv - Friluftsliv i umställning.

The webinar recording is in Swedish with English subtitles.
